Bottle Republic: Your Go-To Liquor Store in Somerset, NJ

Bottle Republic Liquor Store is one of those places that truly stands out. This store stocks bottles you simply can’t find anywhere else, and the selection is outstanding. Recently, I was searching everywhere for a bottle of tsipouro, basically the Greek version of grappa, and had no luck. Then I remembered that about a year ago I had picked up a few hard-to-find bottles of Greek vodka made from olives here, so I decided to stop in again. I’m really glad I did. Once again, they came through with exactly what I was looking for. If you’re searching for unique, international, or hard-to-find spirits, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Great selection of Whiskeys and Tequilas. If you're a craft beer drinker, they have a nice selection, not just the heavy hitters. Drew does a nice job of offering great selections and if you request something he usually brings it in for you. Their wine selection is solid they have a lot of things I don't always find in other stores. They are reasonably priced and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Looking for a good bourbon at a reasonable price, check out Legrand Whiskey from Eric Legrand, and Smoke Wagon. They also have a rewards program!

Great IPAs and even better deals on the good stuff. The staff is awesome, but watch out for Susan, she’s a total sweetheart, but she’s also a sales sniper. I went in for a beer and left with premium spirits and a new lease on life. 10/10, but Susan will upsell your soul.

Great Service at Bottle Republic on Easton Ave Big shoutout to Linda! I came in from Ontario to visit my 97-year-old gram and stopped by for a couple bottles. The store is huge, and Linda noticed I looked lost. She recommended a great Villa Pillo, gave me a free corkscrew, plus a t-shirt and cinch bag. Before I left, she even said she’d pray for my gram. Amazing kindness and customer service. Thank you, Linda!

I needed a special Vintage for my 50th birthday. And the Sommelier was very knowledgeable and created a custom vintage Dom Perignon bottle with an engraving on it for me. I would definitely re-order from them again. Staff was so helpful, polite, and courteous.

Good shop with a decent selection. I went out of my way to go here cause they had some unique, cheaper soju flavors that I can't get around my area. Easy parking and check out process was fast.

I've been going to this store since it opened! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful! The prices are the lowest around. When I am running errands, if there is a liquor store nearby I go in and check their prices. JUST YESTERDAY, I went into the store on Elizabeth Ave. They are selling the Markham Cabernet Sauvignon for $52.99. BR is selling it for $36.99. That's not a dollar or two difference, that's a $16.00! HUGE! I love that they deliver too!!! And sign up for to be a reward member and once you hit 1000 points, you have a $15.00 credit to use for a future purchase. Keep up the good work! Today Susan R. was my cashier. She was great!!!!!
